I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing their touchpad being a bit "loose"? More precisely when you touch the right side of it (not click, just touch) it will give in a bit and make a sort of click splash sound. The left side of it is rock solid and doesn't give in or make any sound when touched.

Also it's my first mac so I don't know how normal any of this is for their touch pads, but it's weird that touching it on the left and right is different.

I tried but no change whether you hold the space bar or not.

I know exactly what you mean. I had this on my original 2008 unibody MacBook. How long have you had it for? Best get it exchanged or it'll drive you mad once the 14 days is up.
