rMBP USB Card Reader Trouble (Compact Flash)

My rMBP just arrived (2.3 GHz/16 GB/256 GB), and I'm trying to import photos from a recent photo session. When I plug in the (USB 2.0) card reader that I normally use, it isn't recognized. I've tried using Lightroom, Image Capture, etc., and still no luck.

Has anyone had this happen on theirs? How did you fix it?

I'm sure you've thought of this, but remember that Image Capture will import from most all newer cameras via USB cable. I don't even have a CF reader anymore.

See if you card reader has new firmware that needs to be updated.

Anyways, I would suggest perhaps the Lexar USB 3.0 reader.
