I'm trying to figure out which screen is superior out of the box. The 13" rMBP has a slightly pink tint with whites (hard to describe) and seems like a more harsh backlight than my TBD. The TBD, in comparison, is warmer and seems easier on the eyes. I get headaches when I use my 13" too much. I know the TBD technically goes brighter, but it seems like the rMBP is too harsh.

It doesn't seem like any amount of calibration under "Settings" seems to help with the pink/brighter tint of the rMBP. I took a picture, it's not as apparent in the photo as it is in person, but there's definitely a difference.

You can use Flux to make the screen of the rMBP warmer.

Yeah, Flux is running now. But the TBD is still warmer and the MBP still is cooler/pink.
