Curious what you guys normally set your level to.

On battery I'm usually around the 50% mark. Plugged in I usually turn it up to 75-80% I usually don't go to max unless I'm in a very bright room or if I'm editing my photos because that's where I calibrated the screen.
 
1/4 if the room is dark. 1/2 in bright rooms. 3/4 when the sun shines on my desk at work. I've never had to go higher than 3/4 at work, and never more than half at home. Even at half it's brighter than the 2008 macbook it replaced.
 
Retina burning (aka max!) :D :D Hehe I always gotta have a bright screen, I've tried it lower and its weird to me, at least now I keep it 1 tick down incase there is some unwritten rule that says my screen will burn out faster at the max brightness...if I'm desperate for battery life 4-5 ticks below and in a completely dark room 2-3 ticks above.
