Is there a way of installing Windows7 onto parallel without the use of superdrive?
is there a place where i can download an online copy (.iso)? I have the serial key.

Note: not sure if this helps, but I also have my old (working) laptop.

Thanks for help!

I think bootcamp gives a pretty detailed outline for installation without a superdrive, but I could be wrong, I did it a month ago and had a superdrive.

If it does though, you could just install a bootcamp drive and use that for your parallels VM.

Yes. Bootcamp Assistant should let you select an ISO file, and create a bootable USB drive from it.

Legal downloads are available from Digital River - Google for it, and make sure you get the right edition for your key.
