Presumably because 7.5 hours + 7 hours = 14.5 hours, and the time at which you posted compared to the time you charged your iPad was less than 14.5 hours

EDIT: But that assumption may only be valid if you're in the same time zone as the person that views the post, I guess.

I thought that also after I read it again but it's not what I did. Total usage time was 7:30. 30 minutes standby. I just lumped it together.
