Got a Sprint rMini yesterday.
Happy to report.
1. Worked with my VW iphone sim.
2. Singed up with a new Tmo sim (able to get the free 200mb)
3. Likely will work with ATT. (not sure... maybe i'll borrow someone's ATT sim)
4. Certainly should work with sprint network.

-- Still need to test would be try to get my ipad to run on Verizon as a new activation.....
