15-inch 2011 MBP with the 1680 x 1050 display compared to the new retina display...

When using the 'best retina' resolution, will the result be less screen space on the new rMBP than the 1680 x 1050 setting on the 2011 non-retina MBP model?

Is the optimal Apple retina setting giving a size/screen space equivalent of 1440 x 990?

Very good review from Anand.

I plan on using the 1920x1200 resolution to maximize desktop space. I love being able to have multiple windows open. That real estate is premium when working with big spreadsheets and such.
