rMPB SSD upgrade

So currently it looks like OWC is the only company making a compatible SSD for the rMBP. Is it just a matter of time before other companies get involved or are we SOL with the newest machines going PCIe?

I still have 180GB free out of my 256gb drive, but I'm sure I'll need more space sooner then later.

you can choose the other road though, get a nifty mini drive and a microsd card.

There are a few parts sites that occasionally carry the OEM SSDs, including the 768 for much $$$. Some used some new.

I'm currently rocking a homemade nifty with a 64gb microsd to hold my iTunes directory.

I'm more looking for an SSD upgrade that has the equivalent value of a standard drive. I totally understand that the proprietary design will increase the price, but it seems since there is only one company selling aftermarket drives the prices are pretty steep. I'd really like to see $.75 per GB.
