Hey everyone,

Since updating to iOS 16 my Siri is sporadically its intended voice and then it may be a robotic version of the voice. I’ve tried switching voices to redownload the files. Still the same. I’ve tried rebooting the phone. No change.

I’ve noticed with my iPhone XS it may be showing it’s age. Things don’t stay “remembered” like they used to. Such as music last playing. Apps open. Etc. things will reload. I’m guessing due to the amount of RAM in the XS.

Anyone else having issues?

Yes. Siri has reverted to a robotic voice for me on my default voice (American, Voice #4). I Googled in vain for a solution and all the solutions mention re-downloading the voice (which doesn't work), disabling low power mode (done - no effect), and that my iPhone storage might be too full (it's not).

The only other suggestion is to reset the entire phone, which I don't want to do.

I guess the best we can do is submit a bug report to Apple? 🙄 I have even gotten the voice from my Apple Watch during exercise with AirPods in reporting my progress and when Siri is announcing texts with AirPods in as well. It’s very frustrating.
