I have just released a Robotron clone called KillaTron 2112.
This was created in the traditional 80s arcade style.

It's a dual stick shooter.

This is a universal app and looks great on the IPad.

So anyone looking to capture the feeling of Robotron 2089 then buy the app from iTunes and enjoy the nostalgia. Thanks for reading. Any suggestions I will add as an update.
