Robust headphones - any recommendations?

My girlfriend seems to get through a pair of headphones in a matter of months - between the gym, walking, chucking them in her handbag - does anyone have any recommendations on something that's going to last?

They are just a tad too bass-heavy and muddies up the sound, but I got a pair for my mom anyway as she chews through a pair of earphones in a few weeks to a few months. These are durable and have lifetime warranty.
