This was just announced at Mac World.

Specifications:
• All Aluminum construction made from 6061 T-6 anodized aluminum.
• CNC Machined from solid Billet for ultimate durability and precise fit.
• 6 sided protection defends iPhone 4 against shocks, drops and movement.
• Weighs 33.5 grams, just over an ounce.
• Balanced feel and easy access to all buttons, sim card, headphone jack

Wow, definitely different. It's interesting that it's curved on the top but squared off at the bottom. I'm not sure that I would pay $80 for a case with an injection molded polycarbonate bottom either... I know it's to avoid signal degradation but it seems like it would break easily.
 
reminds me of the armadillo aluminum case if anyone remembers that. This one looks nicer tho.

i think its a very modest design... it doesn't flash but nor does it deserve the word ugly.
