Roland AIRA TR8 query

I was contemplating getting a Roland TR09 or TR08 to pair with a TB03 to start making a bit of Acid House, but couldn’t decide which, but then I read about the TR8 which has both the 909 and 808 drum kit sounds. Great I thought, best of both worlds. However, after a bit of reading it appeared that you could not chain patterns together and loop them like you can on the TR09 (barring switching from A to B).

I have since read that Roland fixed this with a firmware update and you can now chain patterns, is this true? If so are there any features of the TR09 or TR08 that the TR8 can’t do?

Any help appreciated.
