I have a Rollo thermal printer that I've used for years, works fine with my old 2014 MBP, I bought a 2020 M1 MBA to run my shipping on and can't get it to recognize the Rollo.
I've tried reinstalling the driver, updating to the newest OS, resetting the printer settings, changing ports, USB adapters, etc. I talked with Apple support and they think it's because the Rollo driver hasn't been updated in 3 years so it's not written for the new chips. They suggested installing Rosetta 2 which I did but it's still not recognizing the printer.
Would anybody have an idea of another way to get the two to see each other?
