Rome Total War with 2 monitors

Heya...

So, i got Rome Total War Gold, a Macbook Pro and a Thunderbolt Display, and when i play it with the Thunderbolt Display, the built in screen of the Macbook goes dark. (or vice versa, if i play it on the Macbook screen, the Thunderbolt goes black)

I wonder if anyone knows of any way to keep the second monitor usable?

I tried to play on windowed mode (-ne on the attributes thingy), but it has no effect on the game.

Have you contacted the developer of the game? It might be a preference that needs to be set.

Yea, i sent them a mail. Feral Interactive doesn't have forums that i'm aware.

But so far, niente...

Even some of the newer TW games don't have dual monitor support, so you're out of luck.
