Rosetta or VM?

I have a SR 2.2 Macbook Pro and I was just wondering...which would make more sense? Running Office 2004 through Rosetta, or Office 2003/2007 through Fusion or Parallels? Which one would be less taxing on the computer? I can't imagine Rosetta to be all that bad but I'm no expert on this.

I would go with using Rosetta. I think running one program using emulation would be less taxing then emulating a whole OS.

I'm running Office 2004 on my MBP and it runs just fine. MS is going to offer Office 2008 for anyone who has 2004 for just the cost of shipping, and it will run natively.

yeah I plan to get 2008 in January. But till then, was wondering what the best option would be. I've been running 2004 till now but the laptop...sorry notebook, gets pretty hot when I'm using it. That's why I was exploring options...
