I have a couple 1TB WD Caviar Green drives that I would like to use for time machine backups and for shared files. Would this Rosewill R2-RAID connected to the new Airport Extreme work with time machine?

One review I came across mentioned: "I liked everything about this product, except for that it is not fully Mac compatible. I bought it to make a RAID1 drive for my Airport Extreme, but I could not partition it with GPT, which is necessary for Time Machine. It could only be formatted with MBR partitioning."

Shouldn't it be possible to partition the drives however you want with Disk Utility?

I'm not sure if I'm not understanding something or not, so any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
