I just moved my parents from a pc to a Mac. In the process, I backed up their photo library and for some reason all the photos saved sideways on my external hard drive. Now I imported them into iPhoto but they all need to be rotated 90 degrees. Is there a way to do this to multiple photos or all of them at once?

You can just select the photos you want to rotate and use the Rotate command in the Photos menu.
