hi, i think i did this by accident a while ago.

Now i dont know if or how to do it.

Basically want to rotate the monitor screen display 90deg on its side.

Ive checked sys. pref. but cant see any settings for it.

Maybe its just a keyboard shortcut?

Thanks.

It shows up under Display setting for me, there is a drop down box called Rotate. I'm using a Mac Pro with a Cinema Display.

I think you aren't getting it is because the inbuilt screens don't allow it. Try connecting an external if you can.

sys pref > display settings?

mine just has a bunch of resolution options...stretched etc. ...

im sure i pressed some shortcut and it happended before.......

thanks anyway......

When I click on Display settings in Systems Preferences, it show up on the resolution screen towards the bottom right. I have attached a screen shot to show.
