Hi,

I find that if I have a portrait photo (as opposed to landscape orientation), it comes out on it's side in Finder in thumbnail view. If I then drag it to mail it also comes out on it's side (in landscape format) in the email message. How do I rotate these and get them to stay the correct way round, i.e. in portrait orientation?

Thanks

Open them in Preview.app (or something else) and rotate them. You can probably setup some sort of Automator droplet thing so as you could just drop the file on it and have it rotated too...

Re: Problem while rotating photo and mailing

Hi,

The photo taken was upside down.

So I rotated the photo by 180 degrees and then saved it and then sent it in the mail, yet it was upside down.

To correct this, after rotating the photo in Preview.app click on Tools > Match to Profile. Then Save it and send it through mail.

This way the pic is the way you want it and the photo's resolution is not lost.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Muthu
