Hello,

As a first-time Mac owner, I have absolutely loved everything about my 15 inch RMBP since purchasing it last August. I even convinced a good friend of mine to buck up and get one since it's so much superior to a windows machine. Anyway, between using my computer and my friends, I swear there seems to be a difference in my track pad "texture" and hers. Hers seems very smooth, non abrasive, and is easy on your fingers while mine seems to be a bit sticky, grainy, and often starts to make my fingers feels a little raw after hours of continuous use.

Has anybody else ever noticed a difference in track pad on a Mac lap top? I really wish my track pad was like my friends so it would be easier on my finger tips.

Have you spilled anything on it?

The way you phrased it suggests you did not notice it before you compared computers. This could be a placebo effect or it could be something more tangible.

Talk to Apple and ask them.
