A large curved surface (bowl) would have more surface area than a flat surface... assuming the bowl opened up to a 27" diagonal rectangle compared to just the 27"diagonal rectangle plate. After all, even though the edges are then, the middle portion is still fat-ish.
Would that increase if metal-surface area make enough of a difference as a heat-sink to compensate for the 680MX in the 27"?
I've only see one true profile-pic, and so apologies if it turns out it isn't actually metal.
