Been using the Switcheasy Canvas, the Yoobao Executive leather Case and the Yoobao Lively Case for a couple of weeks now:

- the Yoobao Lively is my No 1 - it wins hands down in terms of daily usability. Not real leather though (hey cows, that one is for you), but in fact that's even an advantage when compared to the Yoobao Leather case, see No.3. Very lightweight, wellfitting case, not perfectly manufactured but still great. Very good allround protection, sleep/wake, good standing positions (same as original Apple iPad1 case).

- Close second is the Switcheasy Canvas, which offers the best protection and is very well manufactured. But it adds loads of bulk and weight, which makes it really uncomfortable to hold for longer periods of time. Weight of the iPad2 nearly doubles. Great for travelling, very versatile typing and viewing positions. Sleep/wake works like a charm and cover stays in position thanks to the clasp.

- The Yoobao Executive Leather Case comes in last - okay, it's real leather, but I just don't want to know, which chemicals this has been treated with. I own the latest revision and it smells "leather-like", but even after weeks of use I get this greased up feeling on my fingertips. Furthermore A LOT of my friends commented on how ugly the leather case looked ("1980s gentleman's wallet"), I personally don't hate the looks of it nor do I love them. I do understand the comments though :) On top of that all, the whole case seems way to "floppy" to me, the front cover wobbles and won't stay shut - not to mention the unreliable sleep/wake function with this case (keeps going on/off when slightly moving the case - might only be my specific case though).
All in all it's kind of okay, but then there are lots of better cases out there.

Where did you find the Yoobao case? I've been searching online and all I can find for iPad 2 is the genuine leather version.

Have you looked at the Toblini 2 case? I'm trying to decide between the two

Thanks for the reviews. I purchased a Yoobao Lively from a seller on Amazon, and it should be here soon.

I think the selection of affordable, clean-looking, slim, and functional iPad 2 cases is very weak. All I wanted was a thin, black case with the sides well-covered and with the magnet feature. For a while, I thought that no such case existed (every case I had been looking at had a major drawback for me), until I stumbled upon the Lively last week.

Let's hope it meets my expectations.

You'll find them on eBay and they are unbelievably cheap, especially considering just how good this case is - something around $20-25.
