Can this still be done (with your phone on you) or is this a Series 2 feature.

Also is this something you have to turn on each time. Would be nice to see what you have walked visually each day.

Thanks. Is it automatic or do you have to start and stop it?

Sorry I was assuming the person knew they had to start a workout to track it. opps

You must start/stop the Workout app. You will get a map of Outdoor Walking, Outdoor Running or Outdoor Cycling.

Thanks. Ok. Just thought it would be interesting sometimes to see how much and where you have walked (not worked out) in a whole day. Might be nice for when exploring new cities and walking more than usual.

There are apps out there that does this. I use one called Move. I don't think there are any yet that works on the watch, but since you have a Series 1, you'd need to do it from the phone anyway.
