Router as a Repeater with a Different SSID(Network Name)

I was wondering if you can program a router (I'm using an Asus 520GU running Tomato) to act kinda like a repeater. What I'm looking to do is have the router connect to a network and then rebroadcast the network under a different SSID. For example, I have an access point set up under router 1 with SSID "Network1" and I want router 2 to connect to "Network1" and rebroadcast the network with SSID "Network2." I don't think this is possible, but I was wondering if anybody knew a way anyways.
