Router firewall help with remote access

Hi.
Can someone please help me with router firewall settings.
I’m trying to log in remotely from my iPhone to my Mac and my firewall on the Mac is fine but I think my router is the issue.
Any help on what settings to tweak would help

You need to set up port forwarding. This is how you tell your router that when something comes in on port x, it should forward it to host y.
How you accomplish this depends on your router. It shouldn’t be too hard, there are a number of online guides.
The first thing to do is figure out what ports you want to forward. This will depend on the service you want to access.
