The south, the deep south
I just bought a new Asante wireless router and i cant use the internet on any of my computers wireless or not when the thing is connected, im getting signal from the router, my laptop indicates thats its getting wireless signal and the router indiocates its getting signal from everything but when ever i try to log on to a webpage or anything it just dosnt work. any ideas of what could be the problem?

Ok, let's take a tiered approach.

Can you access the internet plugged into the router - wireless off?

My preliminary guess is no. If my guess is correct, you router needs some extra configuring.

Next question: Cable Broadband, DSL, or satellite connection?

no i cant, im accessing the internet through my old router, cable connection. ive gone through all the configuring steps it says to do in the book, and when i check network prefs the IPs and everything are correct, but i still cant access anything to do with the internet.
