Hi,

I've recently moved house and I can't get broadband connection but I can receive a strong 5G connection (around 100mb) to my iPhone.

I'm using my iPhones hotspot to connect my Mac to the internet, as well as my Samsung TV and Alexa. The problem is, the Samsung tv and other decides such as smart plugs constantly need to be reconfigured to the hotspot.

Is there a router out there that can be 'seen' by my devices as a normal wi-fi connection, but is served by my iPhones 5G hotspot data?

Thanks

Yes. There are routers which can use your phones hotspot via USB and routers which accept SIM cards for LTE connections. I like GL-Inet travel routers.

Thanks for your reply - good to know these exist.

I'm guessing it has to be plugged in via USB and not truly 100% wireless between iPhone and router?

Any options for UK?
