G'day,
I have been using Rowmote for a while now, first on my iPhone 3GS, then iPad 4, and now iPhone 5S.
What I've noticed lately (past 6 months or so), is that it appears as though Rowmote (v3.9) kills my iPhone 5S's wifi connection.
Within about 30 seconds or so of opening the app, connecting to my Mac Mini HTPC, and starting to navigate, the iPhone loses its wifi connection, and thus stops controlling the Mini.
Also, if the phone has gone to sleep/been put to sleep with the Rowmote app active, waking the phone will immediately kill the wifi, though it will show the wifi signal bars whilst on the unlock screen.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?
