Roxio Toast v. Popcorn

so i saw this: roxio toast and then looked this up: roxio popcorn

i did some research on the roxio website and the mr forums and it seems like toast is a good deal... ?

also, i was wondering about this

why would i need mac the ripper? could i just copy dvd's using roxio toast alone?

I used to use Mac The Ripper, but it was very annoying having to convert the files from Video_TS into mp4, so now I just use the program handbrake. It rips dvds and converts the file for you.

As long as the DVD is not encrypted, you do not need MTR.
