RS232

Hi
I have a Macbook pro 2012 that I flipped the hard drive for an ssd, I'm running on Yosemite-Parallels 10-Windows 7 and had a gig last week where I needed to connect to a processor via RS232, I ended up using a pc.
Does anyone know of a secure RS232 setup to run with my system, free is a bonus.

You can use a USB to serial adaptor and the driver here for RS232.
