This is not specfically a mac question, but I wonder if anyone can
fill me in. I'm new to RSS and know that there are many newsreaders
that allow you to receive feeds.

But is it possible (and if so, what does it take?) to feature another
site's feed within a website? Say I have a website about Asian business
and I want to have links to the latest news from the BBC in a
sidebar. Can it be done?

yes (this is in the wrong forum btw, web development or design would've been the correct one)... i wrote a very quick script in php that throws RSS in a sidebar area before from slashdot just to have some fun.. do you use any special CMS software for the website already? a lot of the times if you have anything worthwhile (movabletype, wordpress, etc) then they have plugins that will do this for you automatically...
