Okay, so I know RSS has been dropped from Mountain Lion's version of Mail (unless I've missed something?) but I'm wondering if there are any plugins that are available to change this?

I know there are lots of great RSS readers out there but I use RSS feeds more to receive notifications than to actually read everything from the feeds themselves, so just having the feature in Mail always suited me quite nicely.

If Mail is a complete no-go I'm wondering which RSS readers out there now integrate with Notification Centre. In particular I'd be interesting in knowing how they integrate, as I'd quite like to have one that only submits a single notification and "bumps" it when something new arrives. So for example if I have four unread messages and then a fifth arrives, it would bump to the top of the list to let me know I have five unread messages; so it wouldn't over-populate the list but would still keep me informed.
