Hi there Mac-Geeks and Solution finders!
Thanks for all the tips how to restore the RSS screensaver on Mountain Lion. Now, I am trying the same on Mavericks but even with the RSS Visualizer.qtz file copied into the Library/ Screen Saver the RSS won't show up in the screen saver list.
BillyBobBongo-mentioned not to copy it into the Library but into the Home folder.
That also didn't work.
Anybody any idea where to copy that file to in order to get my RSS visualizer back on the screensaver?
Your help is very much appreciated!

go into the /Library/Screen Savers directory via terminal
you need to make the .qtz file executable. From Terminal,
CD /Library/Screen Saver or whatever directory you put it
CHMOD 777 RSS Screensaver.qtz or what ever you called it
relaunch the control panel and you should now find it under screensavers

hope that helps.
