I’ve got an iPhone 13 Pro and I love it. It seems like each year the camera square/bump on the newest iPhones get larger. I wish apple would make a phone for the ones who couldn’t care less about the camera. I think the camera cutout of the iPhone X/XS is about as big as it should be. Just think it would be cool if a “rugged” model came out for people, like myself, who work in construction and are prone to dropping phone a lot. Thoughts? I know, just put it in an otterbox case, but since apple is apparently talking about making a rugged watch, they could make one for the phone too. Basically a phone with a small camera cutout again on the back like the iPhone X model and before but with same front screen/no home button.

I’d appreciate more ruggedness but just don’t think it’s gonna happen as a specialised product.

There’s lots of different possibilities for other designs. What we have today is what Apple wants to sell. They’ve never been into the rugged design philosophy.
