The rumoured sports or rugged version for AW8 is certainly something on my radar.
I’m particularly interested in the aesthetics.

I’m thinking it will be less round and maybe more ‘chunky’. And I’m not even suggesting the squared off design that was purported to be the S7, is the direction. But maybe something along the lines of a squarish octagonal shape. Like a Casio G-shock style perhaps? That way existing watch bands could still be used.

I’m curious what others think.

No idea but I’m very interested too. As long as the pricing is not silly. The Ti version is surely quite resilient?

I have a G-Shock and I like it, but I’m not sure I want an Apple G-Shock. But if some of that bulks goes towards a multi day battery then I’m more interested.

I got a nice rubberized case on Amazon for $15. Bingo, ruggedized watch.

I'm pretty sure the Apple Ruggedized watch will be a little more than a rubber bumper.
Let's see pics of that bad-boy though and we can compare later in the year.

I'm thinking not the classic G-shock but the newer 'CasioOak' nicknamed after the ridiculously expensive Piguet Royal Oak.

Of course they could go down the Garmin Fenix route. But since I don't see Apple having a pure round watch face, I doubt it. I realize it'll have to appeal to both male and female, so I can't say make it more masculine. I just hope it just feels and looks less 'precious' than the current AW.

Longer battery life is a given.

About the only thing that would make me interested is if it has a Sapphire display cover and much more battery life.
