Ruined my iPhone, under contract with Fido, can i buy a new one?

I destroyed my iPhone 6 by dropping it in water but I'm under contract with Fido for 2 more years. Can I buy a cheap iPhone 5 and use it on the same plan I was on? Where can i go to learn about this? I plan on calling Fido tomorrow but it's 10:30 pm where I am writing this from so I don't think I can contact them now. Thank you

You can buy any phone that's compatible with the network but it won't be subsidized. You can contact your carrier to find out your options.
