Digest this with a grain of salt but a rumor says that there will be a 5" iPhone in addition to 4.7" and 5.5" next month. Link to the article: http://www.phonearena.com/news/Rumo...s-a-5-inch-Apple-iPhone-is-on-the-way_id72802

If the rumor turns out to be true, it could be that 4.7" will be a cheaper phone, and, 5" and 5.5" will be the 6S and 6S+. Who knows!

I don't think it'll happen, but I'd probably get it if they did release a 5" phone. Not read to jump from 4.7" to 5.5" quite yet.

not gonna happen but i wouldnt mind it :D i am already used to the 4.7 and could go a bit bigger. the Plus is too big with its disgusting bezel

Typically every design leak since the iPhone 4 has been true, I will believe this. I do believe that the iPhone will eventually upgrade to 5" from 4.7. it is possible for this year, just not as probable. Having three screen size options defiantly gives the consumer choices of which model fits them.

That will be way too many SKUs for Apple. Unlike them me thinks.

Totally agreed. But of course  is trying to replace iPods with iPhones. So though it may not make sense now, it might in a couple of years.  does have a tendency to do things that may seem odd but justified later on.

Wait what D:

The 4.7" will be the 6c and the 5" and 5.5" the 6s and 6s Plus o_O
And ONLY the 6s Plus is getting the 12 MP camera while the 5" 6s retains the 8 MP one

No way Apple ... i mean it was ok to give the 6 Plus OIS but not the 6 ...but this is ridiculous ...

I highly doubt it. I doubt they'd change screen sizes, especially on a "S model" year. I think we'll see 4.7 and 5.5 inch screens for awhile.

I don't see Apple making a phone that is different design-wise from its 2 existing phones, especially if it is to sit between them in terms of size.
