While 1000 nits is not bad, it’s been that way since the 13 series. While I’m sure there will be those that try to excuse it, I was hoping for a “typical” brightness increase to 1200 nits or so. Just another disappointment so far…
 
There is no excuse for using the same panel for third year in a row on a $1200 device specially since Google is already using the newer panels, no anti-reflective display either, 60hz on base models.
People laughed at iPhone 15 for being a copy paste, but 16 is even worse, now that's innovation.

The main camera is also the same since 14 Pro!
 
Unless I've misread the specs, there doesn't seem to be minimum 40W wired fast charging either, which was rumoured. It still looks like 20W.
From Apple : Up to 50% charge in around 30 minutes with 20W adapter or higher paired with USB-C charging cable, or 30W adapter or higher paired with MagSafe Charger (all available separately)
