Run an executable through Remote Desktop on a Mac

I have been asked to run an executable from MS Server 2008 through Remote Desktop Client. I can do it with an administrator account, but I am not having a whole lot of success with a normal users in the domain. Has anyone in this community had to do something similar to this. I do not want to have dual boot boot systems on the Macs. Most users cannot handle the situation as it is and dual booting would be a real problem and expense for one application.
