Run Apps While Uploading

I'm using an upload service to upload a file that may take another 10 hours to complete. I'd like to play a game at the same time that runs off of a CD, will this pause or hault my upload in any way?

The game is the Sims, and it plays fullscreen just like WoW, etc. Just wondering if Firefox will resume the upload.

Yeah, only apps that require use of the internet will be impacted while you're uploading. As you'll have noticed if you try and open a new site/tab in your browser while you're doing it.
