Run Latest tvOS on Previous Generation Apple TV?

Just wondering if there was any hack or something to get the latest tvOS running on the third generation Apple TV. I'd buy the Siri remote, of course.

Well, the old Apple TV OS was based on iOS. So is tvOS. So I thought there might be some hack. They don't use the same processor, it sounds like?

I'm sure someone out there with more time than money could try it. But it really isn't worth it.
