While the ac still plugged in? is this okay? or Should the battery always stay in even when its already charged?

Not to sure about this, and I just got my macbook about a week and a half ago.

Someone probably posted this thread somewhere else but I cannot find it

Yep.... thats absolutely fine! Just make sure you dont damage the pins or internals in the absence of the battery!

Which one is the best method, just leaving the battery in at all times or taking it out?

Ummmm.... of course leaving your battery is the best option! Some electron momentum is extremely important for any Li-ion batteries to maintain its polarities and hence the charge capacities well!

appreciate it, just wanna know which is most recommended, just leaving the battery in or taking it out while using it as a desktop

Okay...so leaving it in is pretty much unanimous.

But, when using it a majority of the time while on the wall plug...should you periodically unplug it and use the battery, draining it the whole way to keep it's 'charge memory'?

I have fumbled with this question myself for the longest time...
I know your supposed to 'train' the battery the first few times...but should you maintain a 'workout' routine for the battery?
(Sorry, couldn't think of another analogy). :D

Yes - leave it in - with the ac charger connected and the battery out your 2.4GHz MacBook will run at the same speed as a 1GHz Macbook.

Apple recommend just using the MacBook as a battery-powered laptop every month or so. Drain the battery and then recharge.
