Run OSX on a PC through an EHD?

Hi, I want to know if I can run OSX on my PC, through an external hard drive.
I want to run it through an ehd because I only have 256GB SSD, so I wouldn't have enough storage to partition the SSD.

My specs are:
HP EliteBook 8470w
Windows 7 64-bit
16 GB DDR3 RAM
Intel i7 processor

You are describing a hackintosh.

You will have better luck on a hackintosh forum.

Typically the consumer notebooks don't have the EFI needed to boot/run osx, or their components are not workable via osx.
