Hi All,

Hopefully this will be my last question, but everyone has been helpful so I'm hoping one more can't hurt :)

I ran my macbook pro battery down last night till the computer went to sleep. Then I plugged it in, and let it charge over night and all day. I went to power it on tonight, when I got home. The startup sound played, but nothing came on, so I hit the power button, and it almost seemed to shut down. Then I hit it again, sound played nothing came on the screen though, waited for a few, power button again, and then once more and this time I left it.

Finally after about 30/40 seconds the screen flashed to life. and my login screen came up. Far as I could tell from a verbose boot, and log messages nothing seemed completly out of the ordinary, but might I have done something wrong? Or is something like what happened with the power on typical. Just making sure I didn't damage anything also with my power button frenzy there.

Thanks all for any help and insight!
