Ok, trying to get back into running after a long break, including a broken toe and general laziness. What I want to know is the current state of the union regarding running apps for the Apple Watch. Specifically, I have a Series 3, and would like to use it to not only track runs, but to ideally run some form of training program (c25K? Nike? Better option??). What I want is a an app that will do some form of guided training program without requiring my phone to be with me. I thought the Nike Run Club app was going to be good for this, and I like their guided runs, but it looks like the customized “My Coach” plan from the app doesn’t sync to the watch for phone-free use. Is there an app that anyone can recommend that does the following:

1. Either has or has the ability to upload a training program.
2. Ideally voice guidance similar to the Nike Guided Runs
3. Syncs to Apple Health - (Do any apps sync GPS track? Is this still a limitation?)
4. Ability to operate phone-free - I DO NOT want to carry my phone.

Does anything like this exist?

GymLife, Gymaholic, workout++ and even Endomondo has its own watch app with some free workout programs.

I am using SmartGym which doesn’t have predefined programs but you can create your owns. It is an only one paid app.

But there are a lot of apps with watchOS app and free workout programs. Nike training club could be awesome. But watch app is not standalone yet.
