Running Asp.Net Applications originally developed on Windows on a Mac

I have recently installed Visual Studio 2019 Community Edition on my Mac Mini. I have many small web applications written in Asp.Net on the Windows platform. I would like to know if I can copy these applications to Mac and if they can run in the Visual Studio for Mac environment.
