Latest complimentary update somehow messed up my install(black screen after reboot, non-bootable disk) so I tried to recover a backup from Time Machine, but after the recovery is complete I cannot set the disk up as a startup drive with a 'Running bless to place boot files failed' error and the crossed circle logo. The disk in mention is an Apple SSD from my MBPr installed via a PCIe adapter which of course is seen as an external volume.

Everything I found around the web mentions early HS betas and that the issue doesn't appear if you have another install of HS on an internal drive which I'm trying right now. Any ideas how to get this sorted out easily?
