This seems like it should be no problem based on tech specs, but I want to be sure. I am downgrading from a mac pro to an entry-level macbook pro, but I still need to use FCP and Color occasionally... I'll be editing 1080p, never 2k or 4k.

This will be no problem, right? Just a lot slower (as in, not real time)? Which I can deal with so long as rendering is okay, no issues with 32bit rendering and frame size, etc.

I run Color on my machine (see signature) with no issues. Yeah, it takes a while to render out many clips, but it gets the job done.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm a bit worried that the new Intel GPUs will have problems since Color is GPU-intensive, but I figure Apple can't suddenly break compatibility like that so I am guessing it will work fine.
